‘Mapping the Most Influential Art Districts in Shanghai (1912-1948) through Clustering Analysis’

This research proposes a new method to map and classify art clusters, combining multiple dimensions of spatial social network analyses. innovatively blends historic GIS approach, statistics qualitative data analysis, experiments with the Republican-period Shanghai world, known as golden age culture in Shanghai. The outcome is identification 11 major clusters eight selected years unique characteristics. It also uncovers partially correlated yet dialectic relationship between dynamics cluster transformation These findings fill knowledge gap Chinese history.
